Asset transfer is the moving of company equipment from one place to another. The location must be registered in the company.

This covers all employees working from home.

Some instances that an employee might opt to transfer their assets are:

  • Poor internet connection from the previous location
  • The previous location is not suitable and conductive for working
  • There are too many noises occurring in the previous location

Work from home employees who wish to transfer the company equipment from the registered location to another should ask permission from the company to avoid liability cases to occur. The process of transferring assets from one place to another is as follows:

1. The employee will have to ask the approval of their respective department heads/team leaders for asset transfer request via email, attached to the email are 3 Screenshots of the internet connection speed of the new location with at least 25mbps minimum speed.

2. Once the request has been approved, the employee will have to fill up the asset transfer notice form located in One Drive under the HOIT public folder. 3. The employee then will send the approved asset transfer notice to the IT department via Helpdesk (support@houseofit.com.au) and from there, the IT department will be the ones to update the asset transfer form of the concerned employee.

4. If not approved, the employee is notified of the rejected request. The employee can file another request with a more feasible reason this time for it to be approved.
